Private beta · YouTube placement review from the makers of DisplayGG

Review your YouTube ad placements.

See which channels fit your brand, and which deserve a closer look. Every recommendation shows the rule that triggered it and the quotes behind it, so you can defend the exclusion list you hand over.

Explore the sample below, or preview your own placement report (it's read in your browser, not uploaded). Analysis opens to beta accounts first.

How it works

  1. 1. Paste or upload

Channel URLs, @handles, video links, or the placement report straight from Google Ads. Totals and “youtube.com” rows are recognised, not guessed.

  2. 2. We check each channel

Through the YouTube Data API: the channel info, about 10 recent uploads with their titles, descriptions and tags, and the top viewer comments on 3 of them.

  3. 3. Findings, then your rules

Child-directed content, sensitive themes, repetitive content, language, and fit with your brand. Every finding quotes the text behind it.

  4. 4. You choose, then export

Nothing is excluded automatically. Pick the channels, copy the channel IDs, paste them into your exclusion list.

One report, different brands

A family gaming channel can be a good fit for a toy brand and a channel to exclude for accounting software. The findings don't change; your rules decide.

Sample report. Made-up channels and brands, to show what a run looks like. Switch the brand: the channels' findings stay the same, only the recommendations change.

Avoids child-directed content, gambling, adult themes, hate and drugs. English only.

Recommendations and findings are ChannelGG's analysis, not data from YouTube. Channel names and quotes come from YouTube.

How to read these results
  • Consider excluding: one of your “avoid” rules matched with strong evidence. Open the channel to see the rule and the quotes behind it.
  • Review: something you asked to review was found, a match was only possible, or the channel's information was too thin or unclear to check one of your rules.
  • Nothing flagged: none of your rules matched in the channel info, recent uploads and comments. It is not a guarantee about the whole channel.
  • Per channel, ChannelGG checks the channel info, about 10 recent uploads (titles, descriptions, tags) and the top comments on 3 of them, through the YouTube Data API. Not what is said or shown in the videos.
  • Counts are channels, not report rows: several handles, videos or URLs can point to one channel.
  • Findings, topics and recommendations are ChannelGG's own analysis of public YouTube data against your rules. They are not data from YouTube, and YouTube doesn't endorse them.

0 channels selected for exclusion

One channel ID per line, for account-level placement exclusions in Google Ads (DV360 also takes channel URLs). Each line excludes a whole channel, including channels you submitted as a single video. Sample data: these IDs are made up.

What it doesn't tell you

  • Findings come from sampled public content. “Not observed” isn't a guarantee about every video.
  • Nobody watches the videos: the analysis reads the channel info, titles, descriptions, tags and viewer comments, not what is said or shown in the videos.
  • Viewer comments describe the audience. They can send a channel to Review, never exclude it on their own.
  • Public content doesn't reveal fake views, real audiences or whether your ad ran next to a given video.
  • Gaming isn't treated as a problem, and cartoons or toys aren't assumed to be for children without evidence.

Pricing

One credit per channel analyzed. Beta accounts get 100 free credits. Duplicates, skipped rows and channels that can't be analyzed are free, and so is reopening or downloading a finished run.
